FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY

In our current economy I believe it’s extremely important not to further burden our citizens with any more taxes. I will take the tax pledge to vote against any additional new taxes or fees or increases to any existing taxes or fees.

Additionally, I believe in a balanced budget for our state to keep us in the black which can be accomplished by limiting government spending to prioritize “needs” versus “wants”. Just as families need to handle their finances responsibly, we need to handle taxpayer revenue respectfully and responsibly. That’s being a good steward of Your money.

This approach will keep our state government in check and ensure we have limited government involvement that is focused on the proper and appropriate role of state government, leaving most matters to local communities and the citizens who live there.

PRESERVING OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS

I’m particularly interested in making sure we have only laws that will respect and preserve our First Amendment rights of Freedom of Speech, the Free Exercise of Religion, and the Freedom of Assembly. No legislative laws or executive over-reach can stand against these freedoms.

I am also a supporter of our Second Amendment rights which are continually being challenged. I will oppose any attempt to weaken our constitutional right to keep and bear arms and will vote against any laws or rules that try to do so.

BORDER SECURITY

Since our safety and prosperity are threatened in our state, not only by unchecked illegal immigration at our southern border, but also at our northern border, I will oppose all attempts to make New Hampshire a “Sanctuary State” and support all efforts to keep our northern border secure.

CONSERVATIVE FAMILY VALUES

It is well documented that the healthiest and most beneficial environment in which to raise children is a family structure that includes a mother and a father. I will support all efforts to preserve and protect our traditional family values and to assist and help families when possible.

I support “parents rights” to make the decisions they believe best for their minor child ahead of educators, medical providers or the government, in most cases. That there needs to be transparency and parental consent in all cases concerning care for a minor child. I will oppose any legislation or policy that promotes alleged “Gender Affirming Care”. I believe that there are only two genders those being biological men and women. Therefore, I will support any legislation that protects women in sports from having to compete with biological men.

I am opposed to any government legislation, corporate policy or educational curriculum in our schools and institutions of higher learning that promotes the ideology of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) or Critical Race Theory (CRT).

I also believe that all life is sacred and unique, and each person is irreplaceable. As did our founders, I believe we all have a right to life. I will vote to preserve and protect life at every stage, from conception to natural death. I will vote against any anti-life legislation including expanding abortion “rights” and assisted suicide or euthanasia.

ELECTION INTEGRITY

The importance of our right to vote can not be underestimated. Voting is part of our civic duty. The right and privilege to vote in our elections must be reserved for only legitimate and legal citizens. If, as citizens, we lose confidence in the integrity of our elections, we will not have faith in our government. Therefore, it is my position that maintaining trust in the process is essential to the survival of our Constitutional Republic.

To address this issue I support the idea that elections should be completed in one day, with ID required to vote using only paper ballots. Election results will be determined by hand counting the ballot totals. I oppose using voting machines of any kind to count the vote. I am against using drop boxes or providing mail in ballots, the only exception being absentee ballots.
